Bearded Bee Brewing Company. Wendell. North Carolina. Country roads. What more could you ask for? This turned out to be the perfect Sunday ride working our way through the slower back roads of Clayton to Wendell. Door to door, this route is about 30-45 minutes.

The signs and photos in Bearded Bee say they started building in 2020. Being so young of a brewery only screams how awesome this place really is, and is going to be. And its perfect timing with the influx of families looking for a good balance between country town living within driving distance of larger city perks. Those that have lived in Clayton and the surrounding areas will all tell you there is a boom of growth in our area that brings in new opportunities and updates to otherwise smaller antiqued towns.

The only downfall I felt was when I asked to try mead and was told they don't actually make it. That downfall was quickly overshadowed when I learned the owners of this kickass place support local by sourcing (mead) and local food businesses. Food trucks are a norm. And oh, they also give back to the local bee community.

With the weather beginning to warm, Bearded Bee will be a go to route.
